I think I spent a total of 10 minutes to put this together, including the desperate search for properly sized plates and containers. It’s essentially just a small plastic plate in an overturned cookie tin lid surrounded by some glowing green slime I picked up at the Dollar Tree. You can also also make slime yourself instead. I'll go through a recipe for some homemade oozy slime as well as detailing the steps for the build below.
Making the Slime:
Materials: 1/4 tsp Borax powder {found in laundry detergent aisle}, 1/2 cup clear or white PVA school glue, 1 cup of water divided into 1/2 cups, food coloring (optional)
1) Dissolve 1/4 teaspoon of borax powder into 1/2 cup of warm water in one of the three bowls. Mix this thoroughly.
*Crafting Note*
These ratios will yield oozy slime. If you want your slime to be firmer, use more Borax.
2) In a second bowl measure out about 1/2 cup of clear glue and mix with 1/2 cup of water until well mixed.
3) Pour the borax/water mixture into the glue/water mixture and stir it up! You will see it come together right away. It will seem stringy and clumpy, but that’s ok! Remove from the bowl.
4) Spend a few minutes kneading the mixture together. You may have leftover borax solution.

Building the Ring
1) Print out or draw your ring floor design on a piece of paper. If you are like me and only have a black and white printer, color as needed. Cut out the design making sure that it will cover the bottom of the plate.
2) Glue your design to the bottom of the plate. Plastic plates work the best for this as they don't degrade with the slime.
3) Paint any exposed plastic from the plate.
4) Once the paint has dried, place it in the center of your tray. Add the slime around the edge, making sure to cover up the tray bottom.
